Mounjaro 7.5 mg/0.5 ml is an FDA-approved once-weekly injection for decreasing blood sugar (blood glucose) in adults with type 2 diabetes. It should be used in conjunction with diet and exercise. Clinical trials have also shown that the Mounjaro 7.5 mg in 0.5 ml injector is helpful for weight loss.

Diabetes is a long-term condition when your blood sugars (HbA1c) become too high because the body does not produce or use insulin usually. Over time, high blood sugar can cause serious health problems, including heart disease, vision loss, and kidney disease.

Mounjaro 7.5 mg/0.5 ml pen reduces blood sugar levels by increasing insulin production and lowering the amount of sugar your liver produces. It also slows the rate at which food passes through your body, making you feel full longer.

Mounjaro 7.5 mg/0.5 ml pen injector (Tirzepatide) is the first dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist, which means it works on the glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptors and the glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptors.

Mounjaro can be used as a single therapy or in combination with other diabetes medicines, such as metformin, sulfonylureas, or SGLT2 inhibitors.
